Wanted (my Review)

TatooJust watched the movie “Wanted” last saturday. And all I can say back then after watching the movie, was… coolness (if there is such a word). It kinda bring back the old “what is the matrix ?” feeling. Ahhh, those good old times. I know most of you critics out there are saying, that its not realiztic and all that shit. Well, wake up dumbshits!!!! i mean, if you want to watch a movie thats “realistic” go watch a documentary or something. I watch a movie to enjoy the action, story, etc… I’m not trying to be rude or anything, but I really hate those people who wants to feel special because they know it all…

Bottom line, I highly recommend this movie to all people who loves a good time on a surround cinema. 5 stars from me.

Pinoy Fear Factor

Kapamilya ka ba or Kapuso? Another classic TV network rivalry is on the way. Survivor on GMA and FearFactor on ABS-CBN.

Audition for contenstant is on this Sunday na, 9am to 3pm. sa PDA stage (just beside the PBB house).

Its currently titled as “FF in SA”… (I still dont know what does “in SA” stands for) hmmmm

Anyway, the show let contestants battle each other (both mental and physical) to complete a series of stunts better and/or quicker than all the other contestants for a grand prize of US$50,000 (US version). Now or Neverland, which is the original title of Fear Factor, which premiered in 1998 on the Veronica channel. The top prize is €100,000 per episode. Already, there are 25 countries that have their own version of Fear Factor including Australia, Malaysia, South Africa, Mexico, Australia, Greece, England, Bulgaria, Indonesia and India. And now the Philippines will have its own version.

update (2008-07-01): ABS-CBN in the Philippines has picked up the rights to the show for a local version, entitled Pinoy Fear Factor, that will be filmed in South America. As of now, its format has not been confirmed, but early teasers for the show hint a major revision from the common three stunt, one winner per episode format. Its top prize is expected to be Php 2,000,000.00. (via)

Hiphop Set (Flyff)

My Hiphop SetSa mga di naglalaro ng flyff at di maka-relate (please fuck off)…

last Sunday I open less than 10 green boxes… and guess what I got 1 gaia cloak, 1 hiphop set, and 1 workout set (OMFG!!!)…Too bad wala na ako box, or else baka pati Taegeuk Cloak nakuha ko na din…

i actually saw a couple of vendors sa town selling this Hiphop set for >1B penya… yeah, i know, its over priced, but most people really really want this bad… i guess the law of supply and demand also apply to the virtual world… i guess for now, i will let my BillPoster use this… hehehe (FYI: i dont use that april boy cap, i used a white cactus hair instead, in my opinion mas bagay) yung Spyset ko napunta muna sa collector ko… hehehe

mental note: actually, just a few days ago i open around >45 green boxes and i got alot of (mostly trash) event moonstones, event oricalkum, a bunch or lawolf and (the cute) losha trans, heart cracker and medicine boxes…

Download Day

Download DaySali na… firefox, just launched its version 3 today… yehey!!!! its not beta anymore… (thanks Mark for the quick BUZZ sa YM)… thats all for now… i’ll install this and give it a test run… right away.

UPDATE: if you are like me who depends heavily on FireBug extension for the version2 firefox. then dont upgrade your browser yet… as of today, its still uncompatible with firefox3. T_T

UPDATE 2: there is an update na pala, i was just lazy to search it >.< (Link) … now if only del.icio.us would also update thier plug-in for FF3

iPhone 3G Globe PH (Postpaid and Prepaid) Confirmed

a few days ago, at the wwdc 2008 (you can find/watch this on itunes store… its a FREE download 1.18GB), steve jobs announced that there will be a (uber cool) iphone3g this july 11th… and by the end of this year, it will be released to a total of 70 countries. and to top that i believe he also mentioned that the price tag of $199 will be an international standard (plus tax ofcourse). i mean, the most coolest phone in the world, just got better, and cheaper!!! OMFG…

and for news that really affects me, i just receive word from my friend(s) from globe… that they will provide both postpaid and PREPAID (which i assume is more expensive than postpaid)… good bye hacked iphone… hello “legal” iphone3g ^_^

Kung Fu Panda (my Review)

Kung Fu PandaWe just finished watching Kung-Fu Panda… and all i can say was, it was funny and entertaining for the kids and adults alike. i admit that i have the taste of a child when it comes to movies and tv shows… which explains why i must see this movie. :-)

funniest this i can remember when i watched this was (alert: spoiler here) when the grasshopper accidentally hit a facial nerve while doing acupuncture (not sure of the spelling) on the Panda. For those of you who can’t relate… well, at least i thought it was funny…

For you who don’t know (yet)… Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman and Jackie Chan were one of the big names who did a voice over for some of the characters in this movie (which surprisingly, i didn’t knew before i watched it).

All in all, i liked it. If the DVD were to come out, I’d buy it. Its one of those family movies, I’m sure you will have fun watching.

Cabal Online

one of my co-workers here, suggested that I give cabalonline a try. since im already a flyff addict… im sure i wont have a problem with cabal… ^^

anyway, i just got the installer and i will let u know how a “noob” feels about this game… or maybe give a brief (non-sense) review on what i think of the game. I’m already reading some “Tips and Tricks” for the game, hoping I could get a good start… unlike my other MMORPG.

Auction.ph FunPlace

FunPlacebeing a programmer sure is sometimes repetitive… but then, when we got this project that we are going to have mini games for our members… i suddenly took the opportunity to take that project and make jeff (our javascript guy here in auction), my partner… im sure he’s also bored with his non-ending API project. i can’t give you the URL right now, and I cannot definitely tell you that the URL is in ***** ;-) … Auction.ph’s FunPlace will have Mastermind, Memory (Match the Faces), and Sudoku game to start off. I heard we will have more games in the coming future.
