Last Saturday… 10pm… its was my 1st time to see Clockworks (CW). Together with my friends… HidekiRyuga, Knolan, Cassidy and Me (These are my CW-mates). We did beat CW, maybe after 28 mins. (yeah i know, weak)… hehehe… Its ok. at least our 1st attempt was successful. Even though, all of the drops were trash.

UPDATE: QuickPwn Windows for 2.1 is now released. you can forget these very time consuming version of unlocking/activating your iPhone ^_^

While we are waiting for the official WinPwn or QuickPwn for Windows for 2.1 Firmware. I have manage to googled a work around on installing 2.1 Firmware. Its not that easy, but its not that difficult as well.
I tried to make this procedure as simple as possible. Let me know if incase you have any questions.
- Download the latest 2.1 IPSW firmware from Apple (1stGen or 3G)
- Install iTunes 8 (if your still in version 7.7, upgrade to v8). You need this because you can only install 2.1 FW using iTunes8.
- Update your iPhone with firmware v2.1 using iTunes 8.
- Uninstall iTunes 8 and Apple Mobile Device Support (most people forget this)
- Reinstall the old version of iTunes, version 7.7. You can get the older version from FileHippo.
- Download QuickPwn v1.2.0 (this is version works with 2.1 FW).
- Install and run QuickPwn (this is very similar to the previous guides I posted). The only difference will be when selecting the firmware use the file (2.1 FW) that you downloaded in step 1.
- Download TotalCommander and the T-PoT addon for it.
- Install TotalCommander. Then afterwhich, install the T-PoT addon. You can do this by double clicking the “T-PoT.1.1.zip” from your TotalCommander browser.
- Connect your iPhone via the USB cable. Using TotalCommander, browse to your iPhone file system by first clicking [-/-] on the drop down menu with all the other drives. Then select or double click on [T-PoT] (which has the iPhone icon).
- You are now in your iPhone’s file system. Use TotalCommander to navigate to /System/Library/PrivateFrameWorks/MobileInstallation.framework. Just in case things don’t work out, make sure you save or back-up your existing MobileInstallation file simply by dragging the file over to the other window.
- Replace the MobileInstallation file on your iPhone using this patch version.
- Using TotalCommander, navigate to /private/var/mobile/Library/Caches/ and delete your existing com.apple.mobile.installation.plist file. Dont forget to rename or back-up the file first.
- Reboot your iPhone. And your done. ^_^

Google Chrome Browser
I guess google is trying to create a hype for its upcoming web browser (e.g. Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer). They even created a comic book to explain how they browser works (for the geeks) and what makes them different from any “current” browsers to date. And so far, they never seem to disappoint. the best thing about this, its OpenSource…
There are alot discussed in thier comic book, if you have the time (and bandwidth), try downloading the 8MB file. It also explains what types of inefficiency some browsers have today.
Makes me wonder… maybe it is true that google is planning to create thier own Operating system. o_O
