iPhone 2.2 (QuickPwn’ed)

UPDATE: I just found this tip on how to add Emoji Icons to your text messages. [Source]

You need to edit the file /User/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Preferences.plist on the device

Add the following boolean key as ‘true’:
KeyboardEmojiEverywhere

Then merely go to the Keyboards section of the Settings app, hit Japanese, and turn on Emoji. Will work for any text field/view in the OS, including on websites, AND including the titles of items on SpringBoard (e.g. if you save a bookmark to the home screen).
In my case I didn’t find the directory specified. Instead I found it here; /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Preferences.plist

Just updated my iPhone3G to the latest firmware… and I just use QuickPwn to jailbreak… (why not Pwnage?) I am not after any unlock anyway… Anyway, I was so amazed with how google map’s street view worked (well, unfortunately not here in the Philippines)… I tried searching my grand parent’s house in Boston… and I was actually geek’d out on how accurate it was… it even showed the actual house as if i was standing there… google is one amazing company… (all hail google!!!!)…

They also added an option in preference to turn auto-correction on and off… (no more unofficial patch for that)… ^_^ this is very good addition for me who lives outside the US and most of our text messages are in our own dialect.

Safari also has some new cool improvements… even though it still lacks copy and paste and adobe flash support T_T….
