Hacking it to work on unintended hardware is relatively benign, but pirating it in order to do so is something else altogether. If you bought a copy and you're just hacking something you own then that's fine, but if you didn't, you're just stealing from Apple to the tune of $129. Hacking and piracy are not the same thing.
