MG Red Frame Astray (stickers and decals)

After a few days i finally got the time to sit and finish this master grade kit. the only problems i had with this was, some of the stickers and decals are super tiny. that i manage to accidentally transfered it to my fingers or clippers. :-( anyway, at least the “important” ones… like the one on his legs and shoulders i got right :-)

LG Scarlet 42 inch LCD (42LH70YR)

We just bought this @ Abenson, in Marquee Mall Pampanga. They are originally priced at PHP 80,000. But they were on sale since last week for PHP 55,000 (FYI, as of this writing, its still priced @ PHP 75,000 @ SM Clark, that already has a discount). Anyway, its quality is awesome… 42 inch, 100 Hz, Full HD 1080p, Bluetooth, 2.4 ms Response Time, DivX thru’ USB 2.0, 3 X HDMI, Simplink (HDMI – CEC).

Style and substance has a name. LG LH70. It offers the perfect all-in-one slim design at only 1.6 inch depth. The LH70 delivers not only a great looking picture in the thinnest package, but instant bragging rights as well.

You can read more about its specs at Mr yugatech’s blog site here, http://www.yugatech.com/blog/tv/42-lg-lh70-lcd-tv-review/

Check out some unboxing and set-up photos we made.

SD (Super Deformed) Gundam 00 (Double 0)

I am not a big fan of the SD Gundams. But this one really caught my eye. Plus its not that really expensive. ^_^ I bought it here at SM Clark for PHP 360.

Here are the Construction manual (even has an awesome “cute” images and poses). Unfortunately out of the box most of the parts are just plain blue (particularly the body, sword and shield part. And to add, the arms dont move (unlike other SD), and its ALL white as the legs and feet.

My wife and I have to color those parts which needs coloring. (upper waist, side of the body, backpack, elbow, side armor (or the blades attached to the GN drives)

Here is the back part. oh yeah, I colored the gun/sword attached to his waist to chrome. ^_^

MG Red Frame Astray (weapons and equipment)

Now that we have the mobile suit done. next is the weapons. I know im slow. but I dont mind. Im not in a hurry. As they say. its not the destination, its the journey. ^_^ Let do this. I assume it wont be as intricate as the mobile suit. i dont see tiny parts here.

His massive weapon (tactical arms). Turns into a bow (not a fan of it though)

Doin some posin. :-) I’ve yet to use the decals and stickers. just got to excited to pose him due to his awesome articulation (did i mention he has awesome articulation).

Tomorrow, (hopefully) I’ll try to start with the decals and stickers. ^_^

MG Red Frame Astray (waist and legs)

now that we have had our beauty sleep. :-) time to continue with the legs and feet.
Me attempting to showoff the red frame’s awesome leg articulation (it even has tons of other mechanical detail inside its armor). Waist area was simple to assemble. I was so excited to put them together, i forgot to add panel lining.

All thats left now is connect the upper part and lower part.
Showing off the panel lining. I know I’m not great. Its just a hobby anyway (something to take my mind off work and stress related stuff)
Will be BACK (get it? “back”, uhmmmm, nevermind)… anyway, next part would be the weapons (Tactical Arms and the Swords)
