New Facebook app on the iPhone
I usually don’t post reviews or comments on some apps i have on my iphone. but facebook really did a good job on their new version for the iPhone 3.0
Here are some of the new features:
- See your upcoming Events and RSVP
- See your friends’ birthdays
- See Pages and post updates and photos to Pages you administer
- Write Notes and read your friends’ Notes
- Upload videos (iPhone 3GS only)
- Upload photos to any album
- Complete photo management (create albums, delete albums, delete photos, delete photo tags)
- Change your Profile Picture
- Zoom into photos
- Like posts and photos
- See the same News Feed as the Facebook website
- Visit links in a built-in web browser
- See all of your friends’ friends and Pages
- See mutual friends
- Easily search for people and Pages
- Make friend requests
- Become a fan of Pages
- Quickly call or text your friends
- Create shortcuts to your favorite friends and Pages
- Friends sorted by first or last name according to your settings
- Chat friends sorted alphabeticaly

Saying goodbye is never easy, It’s the hardest thing to do

Post in Wordpress then update Twitter and Facebook
I’m trying out this new plugin I installed on my wordpress. Its suppose to update or post and entry on my twitter account. And since I have a twitter app on my facebook. It should capture the new tweet then posting a link on my facebook wall. hmmm. lets try it out…

View my Blog on an iPhone/iPod Touch
I’ve just installed a new Plug-in for my wordpress. If you have an iPhone/iPod Touch. Trying viewing my webpage. It looks great. optimized for the apple web devices (not to mention it uses ajax for faster interaction and more eye candy effects). I still haven’t tried them yet using windows mobile internet explorer or nokia symbian smartphone browsers. maybe some of you who have these Phones/PDAs can send me some screenshot (it would be very helpful).

Dont’ get me wrong, i still like the old plugin which I am using. its looks great for both mobile safari and mobile IE. i just like the new feel.

Installing Zend Studio 5.5.1 on Windows 7
As much as i like Zend Studio 6 and 7. I still prefer using version 5.5 And if you are one like me who have problems installing this on a windows 7. He’re how i fixed my problem.
Here’s how I installed it, taken from zend forums (http://www.zend.com/forums/index.php?t=msg&th=7855). This worked for me in Windows 7. Modify the paths below as needed for your installation of Windows 7.
- Download and install the latest JRE for Windows: http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
- Download and install WinRAR: http://rarlabs.com (be sure to install with Explorer shell extension).
- Downloaded Zend Studio 5.5.1
- Right-click the Zend Studio install file and choose WinRAR > Extract Here.
- Go into the folder Windows\resource (the newly-created Windows folder, NOT your system Windows folder).
- Rename the “jre” folder to “jre backup”.
- Copy your C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6 folder into that resource folder and rename “jre6″ to “jre”.
- Go back into that Windows folder and double-click ZendStudio-5_5_1.exe to install it.
- When it is finished installing, copy your “jre backup” folder into your Zend Studio 5.5 installation folder.
- Rename “jre” to “jre another backup”
- Rename “jre backup” to “jre”
- Run Zend Studio in compability mode for Windows Vista

Upgrading Firmware iPhone 3.0 (for 2nd Gen)
Im now downloading the upgrade for my iPhone 3G (not S, yet). I dont mind my phone to be “un-jailbreaked” again. I just want to try MMS and some other features the 3.0 offers.
But based from the DevTeam, the old quickpwn/pwnage will still work. I just want to be on the safe side and wait for any bugs to be sorted out.
