Looks like I will need alot of popcorn. ^_^ i just downloaded this commentary from the movie’s official website. And I plan on playing this commentary on my 2nd viewing of the movie. I think this is one movie which brings back the quality in (non special effects, and story driver type of) movies.

Ive watched alot of Manga’s turned Live action movie. Usually Anime version of the manga captures the manga’s feel for the characters. But most live action versions were BAD. This trailer from Blood looks different. (i hope)

Im not sure if most of you know this yet, but the DBZ series is now being remastered… and from what ive “googled” this will be a more closely following the manga storyline, hence removing the fillers (which is the same reason why naruto and bleach anime sucks at the moment)… Also, this version will be re-edited to hew more closely to Akira Toriyama’s original story. ^_^
watch the 2nd episode live here: http://www.jraw.net/2009/04/12/dragon-ball-kai-02/
I stumbled into this video from myspace.
great job on this animation. check the video below.
It was office hour, during breaktime. I saw Mr. Drew watching this streaming video. I ask what it was because he was so focused on the computer. All he said was “Dr. Horibble” and continued watching. He gave me the site’s link afterward.
When I got home I tried watching it from the URL he gave me (streaming). But because of our crappy connection at home, (which is both ComClark and Digitel-DSL by the way), its very difficult to enjoy the show, esp when it starts to buffer after a few seconds.
So, I tried finding an alternative way to watch it. And after a few minutes of googling (if there is such a word), I found some videos on youtube, it has all 3 episodes (each episode was divided by 2 parts). It was all watchable but blurry, maybe because (i think) it was recorded via phone cam or something like that.
Anyway, I did enjoyed it. Even though I really don’t watch movies that are… hmmm, musical type (except for Grease ^_^). I like the story’s pacing and the music’s not bad either. I don’t love it, but I also don’t hate it. However, it did kept me entertained while I was watching.
If your the type which doesn’t mind dishing out extra cash, you can download thier episodes via iTunes.
Just watched the movie “Wanted” last saturday. And all I can say back then after watching the movie, was… coolness (if there is such a word). It kinda bring back the old “what is the matrix ?” feeling. Ahhh, those good old times. I know most of you critics out there are saying, that its not realiztic and all that shit. Well, wake up dumbshits!!!! i mean, if you want to watch a movie thats “realistic” go watch a documentary or something. I watch a movie to enjoy the action, story, etc… I’m not trying to be rude or anything, but I really hate those people who wants to feel special because they know it all…
Bottom line, I highly recommend this movie to all people who loves a good time on a surround cinema. 5 stars from me.
Kapamilya ka ba or Kapuso? Another classic TV network rivalry is on the way. Survivor on GMA and FearFactor on ABS-CBN.
Audition for contenstant is on this Sunday na, 9am to 3pm. sa PDA stage (just beside the PBB house).
Its currently titled as “FF in SA”… (I still dont know what does “in SA” stands for) hmmmm
Anyway, the show let contestants battle each other (both mental and physical) to complete a series of stunts better and/or quicker than all the other contestants for a grand prize of US$50,000 (US version). Now or Neverland, which is the original title of Fear Factor, which premiered in 1998 on the Veronica channel. The top prize is €100,000 per episode. Already, there are 25 countries that have their own version of Fear Factor including Australia, Malaysia, South Africa, Mexico, Australia, Greece, England, Bulgaria, Indonesia and India. And now the Philippines will have its own version.
update (2008-07-01): ABS-CBN in the Philippines has picked up the rights to the show for a local version, entitled Pinoy Fear Factor, that will be filmed in South America. As of now, its format has not been confirmed, but early teasers for the show hint a major revision from the common three stunt, one winner per episode format. Its top prize is expected to be Php 2,000,000.00. (via)
We just finished watching Kung-Fu Panda… and all i can say was, it was funny and entertaining for the kids and adults alike. i admit that i have the taste of a child when it comes to movies and tv shows… which explains why i must see this movie.
funniest this i can remember when i watched this was (alert: spoiler here) when the grasshopper accidentally hit a facial nerve while doing acupuncture (not sure of the spelling) on the Panda. For those of you who can’t relate… well, at least i thought it was funny…
For you who don’t know (yet)… Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman and Jackie Chan were one of the big names who did a voice over for some of the characters in this movie (which surprisingly, i didn’t knew before i watched it).
All in all, i liked it. If the DVD were to come out, I’d buy it. Its one of those family movies, I’m sure you will have fun watching.
