Transformers (2) Revenge of the Fallen – Philippine toy launch
When: May 30, 2009
Where: Atrium, Bldg A, SM Megamall
Cybertron Philippines will kick off the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen promotions by launching the TF:ROTF toys on May 30, 2009 (Saturday) at the Atrium, Building A, SM Megamall.
1) There will be no price increase for Deluxes and Leader Class. Deluxes will stay at P699 at Leader Class still remains at P2999
2) There will be a wide assortment of ROTF toys during the launch.
3) Gifts with purchase will still be present.
4) Three (3) chances to get major TFs and ROTF prizes.
5) Winners of the Customized Transformers Toy Contest will be announced during the event. The entries will be put on display. Exclusive Items and Official Hasbro Trophies will be up for grabs.

Macbook Pro
i just bought a macbook pro (15″ 2.53GHz version) this morning (some where in manila)… i think the buyers ebay ID is consult.gadget … anyway, i already tried a bunch of software i pre downloaded (i was using a hackintosh before on my dv6149us HP)… at least I can remove my hackintosh partition and just retain the vista/ubuntu combination… ^_^…

MP-04 Masterpiece Convoy and Trailer
At looooong last… after months and months of convincing myself… i finally decided to buy myself a mudhafakin MP-04… if incase you dont know what I’m talking about… its actually the largest Optimus Prime Toyi (to date) out there… try searching in google or youtube (it all over the place). I’ve already uploaded some of my own photos to my multiply account (trying to save some space on my local web server). And when I have the time to finish my gallery page here in wordpress, I will upload them here aswell.
Back to the topic, the one i bought is actually made by Takara (which I prefer over Hasbro by the way). Even though it has some small paint chips (i guess its normal for a die-cast type of toy). And the chrome painted smoke stack (on the left side) have faded a bit (especially on the edges). But based from some review I found, its normal for this toy. I’m so happy, i feel like a total geek gone haywire…
Bottomline, I am very pleased with this toy, I had to really search for any cons at all (for both robot and vehicle mode). I highly recommend it to anyone who does not have MP-01. If you do have MP-01 then your choice is a bit more complex, I’m not sure I would dish out the extra cash if I just wanted the trailer. :-/
mental note: I’m not a collector, I just buy selected toys simply because I like them (alot). Also, I dont resell and I dont try to complete any “sets.”
